A Maine Center for Economic Policy Forum
addressing a variety of important topics. Panel discussions will focus on Paying
for the Heath Care We Value, Paying for the Education We Value, and Tax Reform
for Maine's Future. Presentations will be made by Professor Charles Colgan on
the role of state and local government in Maine's economy; Commissioner Ryan Low
will give an overview of the Governor's budget; Michael Allen, Maine Revenue
Service will offer the Maine Revenue Distributional Analysis; and Rob Gray,
Center on Budget and Policy Priorities will talk about how other states are
coping.
