This three part series is designed for potential, start-up and existing
businesses, and will help you develop your writing skills to
effectively market and tell the story of your business.
There
is a $30 registration fee which covers the entire workshop series.
Space is limited to 15 persons. Must register by January 30th.
Part 1: Telling Your Business Story (Tuesday, February 3)
Participants will develop a mission statement for their business, learn
how to express the unique benefits of their product on the printed
page, and how to put this together in a compelling and concise
'elevator' speech.
Part 2: Developing and Using Marketing Materials (Thursday, February 5)
This hands-on session will cover topics such as writing for the
Internet, developing printed materials and writing a basic press
release. In addition, participants will also get an introduction to the
many low or no cost marketing opportunities on the Internet.
Part 3: The Marketing Power of your
Network - How to tap into this amazing resource to build and grow your
business (Tuesday, February 10)
Your small business is not an island! Participants will learn how to
use their personal and professional networks to grow and expand their
buisnesses. Participants will also learn about working with other small
businesses to package their products and services.
