| Kibby, Black Nubble, Roxbury, Aroostook County,
Downeast. Proposals for wind development projects are popping up in rural
communities across Maine. What do wind projects mean for the western Maine? Does
increased energy generation benefit western Maine residents? What issues are
utilities facing? Join us for a discussion on these complicated issues with
representatives from Central Maine Power, Sen. Peter Mills, author of "Megawatts
from Mountaintops: What does it mean for Maine," and County Commissioner Fred
Hardy. Breakfast is free. Registration is not required. Sponsored by the Western
Maine Legislative Caucus.
