A training for municipalities on incorporating conservation and land protection goals into town comprehensive planning will be held in Bath on Tuesday, February 9, 2010. The program will run from 8:30 AM -12:00 PM.
This is a program of the Kennebec River Network – Formerly the Kennebec River Initiative and will be hosted by the Kennebec Valley Council of Governments and the Kennebec Estuary Land Trust.
Who should attend? Municipal officials, planning boards, land trusts and their members, conservation organizations as well as interested citizens.
A second training covering similar material is currently being planned for the Augusta/Waterville area for late February or early March. Details for this event will be available soon and an official invitation will go out when details are finalized.
