The purpose of the conference is to
help foster success among microenterprises and small businesses in the
greater
Piscataquis County area and all of rural Maine, and is
expected to
attract over 100 micro- and small business owners. Scholarships are

David Lee, founder of
HumanNature@Work (www.humannatureatwork.com), and an internationally
recognized
authority on organizational and managerial practices that optimize
performance,
will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Rural Maine Small Business
Conference & B2B Show, to be held on Wednesday, April 28th,
at
the Penquis Higher Education Center in Dover-Foxcroft.
His keynote is entitled
‘Get Great or Become Extinct:
Why Good is No Longer Good Enough, In Today’s “Tell All” World.” He
will also
be presenting a breakout session entitled “Creating the ‘Wow’
Experience, If You
Want Lots of Repeat Business and Free PR.” This
training is
being offered as part of the Maine Woods Tourism Training Initiative, a
project
supported by the Maine Woods Consortium, with funding from the
Betterment Fund
