| The conference provides an opportunity for professional growth and networking with peers. In addition, it should be seen as a celebration of tourism in Maine and the role it plays in our economy. As the largest industry in the state, tourism is a vital source of economic development. Starting with a more affordable cost to participate, there will be a new look and feel to the conference this year. Maine’s eight tourism regions will be featured during professional development sessions and even in the Maine food we will enjoy at lunch.
